Circle opened with a Prayer this evening by Pam Allinson.
It
was an extra special evening for me (Terry) this evening, as My Father
(also called Terry) in Spirit visited our circle; his fourth visit to us
since we began nearly sixteen years ago. A wonderful emotional
experience - Thank you Dad.
As Pam said the opening Prayer, the
table began to rock excitedly in the centre of the circle. We welcomed
our gatekeeper, guide and friend Red Cloud to the table - “Welcome.”
says Red Cloud. “Good evening.” says circle.
For the next ten minutes Red Cloud gave a personal message to the circle through the table, then, “Drum.” says Red Cloud.
As the red light was put on and the shamanic drum and beater was brought in many sitters commented on how warm it was this evening. An electric fan was suggested and Red Cloud agreed to our request for it to be introduced at next sitting.
The drum is now up in the air as Red Cloud beats it rhythmically, then it is over Anne’s head and out of the circle behind her - within seconds it is back into the circle and placed back on the table by Red Cloud, not missing one beat of the drum as he takes it out and brings it back in.
Seconds later the drum is up again and over onto Doris’s hip, where Red Cloud begins to beat it rhythmically again - he tells us that there is a healing vibration in the drum and Doris’s hip was in need of healing.
A few moments
later the drum is up and hovering over the table; a few more drum beats
and then Red Cloud drops it gently to the table for James to remove. For the next ten minutes Red Cloud gave a personal message to the circle through the table, then, “Drum.” says Red Cloud.

“Enjoy.” says Red Cloud as he leaves us.
Our next communicator to the table is Kath’s Father ‘Dick’ who has
been with the Rainbow Circle since the very first sitting in October
1998. Dick lifts the table up into the air above us and it dances there
for a few moments, at the same time we look at the door and window and
realize that light is getting in from outside; this does not seem to
affect the energies at all, but after circle it was mentioned to Red
Cloud, who said that we should do the best we can to black out totally
for next sitting. In the early days we would have had to close with so
much light coming in; now the energies are such that it does not seem to
be a major problem.
As Dick brings the table back down to the
floor, he Says “Well done.” to his daughter Kath. Kath understood what
Dick was referring to “Ok thank you.” says Kath. “Is my Mam here?” asks
Kath as Dick requests the Megaphones (large trumpets) - “Yes.” says
Dick. Each and every time we put on the red light to bring in a
particular item that Spirit have requested, it seems to bring the table
to life, because it always rocks excitedly until the light is put off
again.
One trumpet is up in the air now, conducting to the
background music; it suddenly darts over and taps James on the head, and
then it goes over to Anne and taps her also.
From Anne it glides across the circle and stops directly in front of
Alison’s mouth. Seconds later the other trumpet is up in the air, and
the one near Alison rises up to meet it; both now spinning in the air,
creating that wonderful wheel of light as they spin round and round.
The trumpets then go over to Tom and James and tap them on the heads
simultaneously. Because our trumpets are made of thick card they do not
tend to have a very long life span, as Spirit give them one heck of a
workout when using them. One of the megaphones is looking all the worse
for wear so Kath asks Dick if we should have some more made - “Yes.”
says Dick with a nod of the trumpet in the air. Our resident trumpet
maker ‘Pam’ offers to make some more.
Both trumpets are out of the circle to the back wall again, twisting and turning as they fly around - moments later they are back in the centre of the circle again, they look to be play-fighting with each other as they hover over the table. Kath makes a comment about Dick and Mary (her Mum and Dad) fighting with the trumpets - almost instantly she gets a tap on the head from one of the trumpets - [laughter].
One trumpet is over with me now, tapping on my arm, and from me it goes over to Alison and her arm is put inside it by Dick, who is in control of this trumpet. Seconds later we hear kisses being blown down the trumpet on Alison’s arm. Alison then tells us that she can feel a very strong grip on the outside of the trumpet as her arm is raised up inside it. We ask for the red light so we may take a photo of Alison and the trumpet- “Not one of my better poses.” says Alison jokingly as the light is put on. “Hey, I’m putting it on Facebook tomorrow.” says Kath jokingly [laughter].
As the light goes off Dick pulls the trumpet off Alison’s arm and moves across to me again. My arm is then put inside the trumpet by Dick, and I am now being pulled across the table by a very strong grip on the outside of the trumpet. Kath tells me that the trumpet (on my arm) is now resting on her hip between her and Helen. We are allowed to put on the red light again to take a photo of this - I thought that when the light came on Dick would loosen his grip on the trumpet, but he didn’t - we could all see the indentation on the trumpet where Dick’s hand was still gripping it, and we even managed to photograph this.
As the light goes off Dick pushes me back over into my chair and takes the trumpet off my arm. Dick then takes the trumpet over to Ross, and after tapping Ross’s arm he puts the trumpet on Ross’s hand and up his arm. Dick then pulls Ross over the table until the trumpet on his arm is in front of James’s face. Once again we put on the light to photograph this, and again we see an indentation on the trumpet where Dick’s hand is holding it. “Absolutely incredible!” says Anne. “I need to find another word for this, because ‘awesome’ just doesn’t describe it.” says Helen.
Ross is now being pushed back into his chair, the other trumpet is pushed onto the trumpet already on his arm. Both trumpets are then taken off Ross’s arm and taken over to James; they are placed on James’s arm and almost instantly taken off again.
Both trumpets are now gliding over the table in front of our eyes - “They are like ice skaters ‘Torville and Deane’.” says Doris. “My mother was a lot of things, but an ice skater wasn’t one of them.” says Kath jokingly. “Well she is now Kath.” says Doris.
One trumpet is up in the air above us going round in circles, then it goes across to Helen’s head - at the same time James tells us he sees a hand on the trumpet. Seconds later the trumpet drops to the floor - “Do you want it back?” asks Kath. “No.” says Mary through the table. Mary then says “Small…” “Small trumpet?” I ask. “Yes.” says Mary.
The light goes on and I place the small trumpet on the table, and as the light goes off again Kath, Anne and James tell us they can see a hand near the trumpet (we quite often see this now, with the glow from the luminous tabs on the trumpets). “Oh thank you.” says Anne as the trumpet is put on her hand. Anne then tells us that her hand is being pulled towards Kath, it is then pulled behind Kath. Moments later we hear Mary say “Happy birthday for Thursday.” down the trumpet to Anne. “Oh thank you very much.” says Anne (who’s birthday it is on Thursday).
“Oh isn’t this lovely.” says Anne as the trumpet is lifted back up over Kath’s head. “Not really.” says Kath jokingly - we are allowed to put on the red light to see what Kath meant - we see the trumpet, still on Anne’s arm, but right up to Kath’s face resting on her cheek. We then take two photos, one in red light and one with normal flash of the trumpet on Kath’s cheek. As the light is put off again the trumpet is pulled off Anne’s arm and glides across to the table - again Kath and James see an arm in the dim glow. The trumpet is now moving round the sitters and tapping various heads as it passes - it then drops to the table and begins to tap hands that are on the table edge.
The trumpet goes over to Alison and strokes her arm, then Alison tells us that a hand is now stroking her arm - “Oh thank you.” says Alison. Both trumpets are now up in the air again, both conducting to the background music, then the one that is controlled by Mary goes over and taps Helen on the head - “Do you remember Helen Mum?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Mary with a nod of the trumpet - [laughter].
The trumpet then drops to the table and Mary begins to communicate through the table - “Bye.” says Mary. “God Bless, bye.” say sitters - “Is my Dad (Dick) coming back (to table)?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Mary as she leaves us. Moments later Dick has the trumpet up in the air again, over to James and tapping him with it. Anne then tells us that the trumpet is tapping her on the nose. The trumpet then goes over to the table and begins to drum on it for a few moments, then it drops to the floor.
Almost instantly the spare table behind Kath and Helen begins to move, and seconds later it is coming into the circle between Kath and Anne - various sitters reach out to touch the spare table to give energy as it travels in. As it reaches the circle table it begins to turn upside-down, and then it gently drops onto the circle table-top. Both tables now rise up in the air and begin to dance to sitters rendition of ‘Daisy, Daisy’. The tables immediately come back to the floor - “Don’t you like that song?” asks James jokingly. “No.” says Dick [laughter].
The top table then slides away from the bottom table and comes to rest on Kath and Anne’s laps, then the bottom table rises up and turns upside-down and comes to rest on the legs of the upturned table on Kath and Anne’s laps - “No thumbs underneath (the table).” says Kath as the light is put on to take a photo. As the light goes off again the top table begins to rock on the bottom table’s legs, making a sound like horses galloping.
The top table lifts off the bottom table and Kath tells us that she is ‘in it’. We put the light on again to find Kath inside the table legs, with the table seated on top of the other table, Kath having no control of the manoeuvre, it was all Dick’s work. We take more photos then turn off the light again - Dick lifts up the circle table and places it on Tom’s knee, then lifts up the spare table and takes it back out of the circle behind Helen to where it originated from. I then comment on the fact that this seems incredible with the amount of light that is getting into the room from the door and window (incredible because it does not seem to be affecting the energies).
The circle table is taken from Tom’s knee and put back on the floor by Dick, moments later Dick says “Bye.” “God Bless you Dick.” say sitters as he leaves the table.
Our next communicator comes to the table, and when asked for a name, we get ‘Terry’. “Is this my (Terry’s) Dad?” I ask. “Yes.” says Dad. “Is your Dad called Terry too?” asks Doris. I answer Doris with a ‘yes’. I welcome my Dad to the circle, and when the table begins to move we are aware of a very powerful energy controlling it. The table goes over to Tom (his Great-Grandson) and then it rests back on the floor in the centre of the circle. “Surprise!” says Dad through the table.
I then say “I’ve got a surprise for you Dad, the cat pinched the wire.”
[Weeks ago Red Cloud told us that my Dad may visit the circle again, and that he would like us to put three pieces of pliable wire in the séance room - one twelve inch, one eight inch, and one six inch in length - each time I put them in the room our young cat would get to them and try to pinch one to play with. This evening it succeeded and took the small piece, leaving just two pieces]
I ask Dad if two pieces will do, and he says ‘yes’. The red light was not needed to find the wire as it was on the window sill, and there was so much light coming in the through the window blackout that I could see it. The wire was placed on the circle table, and all was quite for about a minute, so quiet in fact, that Kath asked “Are you still there Dad?” “Yes.” says Dad with one nudge of the table. I then say jokingly “He’s working.”
James then tells us that a hand has just brushed passed him on the table.
After about another thirty seconds Doris tells us that her hand has been touched, then we hear her hand being tapped. Doris then says “He’s putting something in my hand.”
“Are you done?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Dad. We put on the light to find that Dad has made a beautiful angel like figure out of the two pieces of wire - “Is it an angel?” asks Doris. “Yes.” says Dad. “Is it a gift for Doris?” I ask. “Yes.” says Dad.
“Well we did wonder what you were going to do with the wire - now you’ve solved the mystery.” says Kath.
Dad then says “I’ve got Big T with me.” [Big T was Dad’s affectionate term for my sister Teresa’s husband ‘Tony’ - Tony was a member of the Rainbow circle along with Teresa until his passing]. “Is he (Tony) showing you the ropes?” I ask. “Yes.” says Dad [laughter].
The table is then up in the air above our heads - Dad is twisting and turning it around as if it weighs no more than a balloon - what power!
“Isn’t that incredible!” says Helen. “Marvellous energy.” I say as the table comes back down and rests on the floor in the centre of the circle. Dad then says “Terence.” “He didn’t call him Terry.” says Kath. Dad continues “Terence, can you kneel?” “On the floor?” I ask. “Yes.” says Dad. Kath explains to sitters that I have a bad knee - this explains why Dad asked me if I ‘could’ kneel. “Yes, I can.” I say to Dad.
I then get up from my chair and kneel down on the floor in centre of the circle - as I am kneeling down Dad moves the table over to Helen, to make room for me. Moments later the table is up and over my head, then down my body until I am inside the legs of the table - the light is put on to take a photo. I explain that it is not me that is rocking the table from side to side, but my Dad, who has full control of it.
The photos are taken and the light goes off - immediately the light is off Dad lifts the table from me, and I return to my chair. Dad puts the table back on the floor and then says “The hug I should have given you a long time ago.” I was very emotional at this point, so Kath continued to communicate with Dad via the table - “Bye.” says Dad. “Will you come again when Teresa’s here?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Dad.
“God Bless you Dad.” say I, “God bless you.” say sitters as Dad leaves the circle.
Various sitters comment on the very strong energy that my Dad brought to the circle this evening.
Our next communicator is young Luke - “Hello Luke.” say sitters. Luke then says “Doris, missed you.” [Doris was away in Austria for two weeks] “Missed you too Luke.” says Doris. Luke then spells out ‘Alison, Ross…” Kath then says “Shall I save you some time on the table Luke - do you want to say ‘Happy Birthday’ to them all?” “Yes.” says Luke. “Thank you.” says Alison and Ross - Alison’s birthday was a few days previous, and Ross’s is today.
“Drum, Tambourine, Trumpet.” says Luke when asked if he would like to say something else. The red light is put on and the musical instruments are brought in and put on the table, which is rocking to and fro in the red light. As the red light is put off again James tells us that he can see Luke’s hand over the table. Moments later the tambourine is up in the air shaking, then it is over and onto Alison’s arm - “Thank you very much.” says Alison. Luke then spins the tambourine round whilst it is still on Alison’s arm - as the tambourine is spinning the drumstick then begins to beat on the drum on the table.
The tambourine is now taken off Alison’s arm and placed in her lap by Luke - the trumpet is then taken up into the air and is seen to conduct to the background music for a few seconds before it comes back down to the table and begins to tap on the drum. As the trumpet taps on the drum, the drumstick taps on the table, then a quick swap and we have the trumpet tapping the table whilst the drumstick taps the drum again. Luke then begins to tap the trumpet with the drumstick - seconds later the trumpet is over onto Ross’s hand, and then quickly back off again.
Luke then rubs James’s arm with the drumstick, then lifts Ross’s arm up in the air. Pam’s hand is then pulled to the table by Luke, and it is placed on top of Kath’s hand which is already on the table - all the while this is going on, the drum is being tapped.
As the drumming stops Pam’s hand is turned over, palm up, on the table. The drum now begins to spin round on the table - I comment on the fact that Luke is a ‘busy lad’. Pam tells us that she can feel Luke’s fingernails as he touches her.
The drum has straps on its side and we now see the drum being lifted up off the table, it then begins to spin round and round quite fast - Luke must be holding one of these straps to have the drum spinning the way it is.
Seconds later the drum is up and out of the circle to the back wall behind Helen, still spinning round and round, creating a wheel of light from luminous tabs on its side.
Moments later the drum is back in the circle and onto the table. Luke then says “Ba…” “Balloons?” I ask. “No.” says Luke. “Ball (small football)?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Luke. The table begins to rock as the red light is put on to find the little football. As it is placed on the table and the light put off, Luke picks up the ball and bounces it on the table top a couple of times. The ball then bounces up and over to Anne; it lands in her lap. Anne puts the ball back on the table and it is immediately up in the air again and being thrown into my outstretched arms - the ball rolls down my arms and lands back on the table, where it is picked up again by Luke.
Luke then begins to tap the drum with the ball, it then bounces off the drum and onto the floor - “Do you want it back on the table?” I ask. “No.” says Luke.
James now tells us that his hand is being stroked by Luke, then Pam tells us that Luke has picked up her hand and has placed it on James’s hand.
Moments later, as ‘Abide With Me’ is playing on the background CD, Luke begins to blow down the trumpet in tune with it. “Oh how lovely.” says Pam. “Well done Luke.” says Doris. “I know.” says Luke down the trumpet (direct voice).
Luke puts down the trumpet and asks through the table for the new skipping rope (just purchased days earlier). “The new rope?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Luke. “I don’t think we have put it in the room yet.” says Kath. “Do you want a rope (now)?” asks Kath. “No.” says Luke. “You were just reminding him (Terry) to put it in?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Luke. “Message understood.” say I.
The tambourine is up in the air now, shaking, it then goes over to Helen and out of the circle over her head - almost instantly, it is back in and onto Helen’s head, and from Helen’s head it is dropped to the floor. At the same time, the drumstick is picked up by Luke and thrown out of the circle between Doris and myself. “Where’s the drum?” asks Kath. “It’s on my knee.” says Ross. “Good, I don’t want him (Luke) throwing that.” says Kath jokingly [laughter].
“Bye.” says Luke through the table. “Bye sweetheart.” say sitters. “That was a quick visit.” says Kath.
“Good evening Freddie (Doris‘s husband in Spirit), God Bless.” says Kath as Freddie comes to the table. “Pencil and paper.” says Freddie through the table. The red light is put on and I bring in the pencil and A4 paper and place them on the rocking table. As the light is put off Freddie picks up the pencil and begins to write - James can see a hand as it brushes past him. Anne also tells us that she can see Freddie’s hand, illuminated from the luminous tab on the pencil stem. After one minute and forty seconds of writing, Freddie puts the pencil down on the paper (this indicates that he has finished).
“Can we look at it?” asks Doris. “Yes.” says Freddie. “Thank you Darling.” says Doris. The light is put on and we see what Freddie has written on the paper. Normally I would just tell you that it was a personal message and leave it at that, but I feel that Doris would want people to know just how close Freddie is to her at the moment - here is his message to her “My beloved, you know the right thing to do. Do what you can, if it is possible I know you will make it happen. I love you xxx.”
Doris fully understood the message from Freddie, and thanked him for it.
[Our loved ones in Spirit are always around us, they tell us this each time they visit our circle - to receive these messages, written on paper, by our loved ones own hands, I can only imagine how Doris must feel]
“God Bless you Freddie.” say sitters as he leaves the circle.
Our final communicator (before Red Cloud) is William (Alison’s Great-Uncle in Spirit) - “You’re very patient.” says Alison to William (for waiting until the end to come to table). “Pencil and Paper.” says William when asked if he would like to say something.
Again the red light is put on, and again the table rocks until the pencil and paper is placed upon it - “What secret is he going to give away tonight.” says Alison jokingly as William picks up the pencil in the darkness.
We all sit, mesmerised by what we are witnessing - a hand from the Spirit world, materialized and writing on paper in front of our eyes. “Wonderful.” says Alison. “Amazing.” says Anne.

The table is then up in the air above our heads - Dad is twisting and turning it around as if it weighs no more than a balloon - what power!

Moments later, the pencil is gently placed down on the paper by William -
“Are you done?” I ask. “Yes.” says William. The light is put on for
us to read what William has written - again I don’t think Alison will
mind if I share this message with you.
It reads “Alison, glad you had a lovely Birthday. Why was your cake
lopsided? Bless you.” “It was meant to be, it was made that way.”
says Alison [laughter]. Again, proof that our loved ones are with
us. “Thank you for this.” says Alison to William. “Bye.” says
William. “God Bless you, bye.” say sitters as William leaves us.
“Thank you for all the evidence tonight, thank you.” says Doris as Red Cloud comes back to the table.
Red Cloud has nothing to say, but allows questions, of which there are two, one from Kath and one from James, both answered and understood by Kath and James.
We all thank Red Cloud for a wonderful evening, and then he asks us to close the circle.
The circle was closed with a lovely Prayer by Doris.
Duration of Sitting - one hour and seven minutes.
Below are various photos taken during the seance as phenomena occurred, some with normal flash camera, and some with red light and digi-cam:
