No sooner had Kath said the opening Prayer, when another special evening
began. "Welcome, we are lucky, with this young energy." says Red Cloud
as he opens the circle (Young Tom and James).
Red Cloud then asks for the shamanic drum - as I put on the red light to bring it in the table is rocking wildly as if excited.
The drum is put on the table and the light is put off - straight away Red Cloud has the drum and beater up in the air above us, drumming loudly as he takes it out of the circle to the far wall. Seconds later the drum is behind James's back (James had a bad back - and told us at end of sitting that it felt better), then up over his head where it hovered for a few moments before Red Cloud placed it gently back on the table for me (Terry) to take away.

"Bye." says Red Cloud. Almost instantly Dick is at the table spelling
out his name. The table is then up and over on to his son Malcolm's
knee - "Hello Dad." says Malcolm. When asked if he had anything to say,
Dick said "Paper." "Paper and pencil?" asked I. "Yes." says Dick.
As I put on the red light again, we see the table rocking wildly ever so fast in the center of the circle. The paper and pencil is put on the table - Dick lifts up the pencil, pushes the paper under a sitter''s hand to keep it still, and then writes a long personal message for Malcolm in the darkness - a message fully understood by Malcolm.
As I take away the message for safe keeping, Dick then communicates another personal message for Malcolm through the table - again fully understood by Malcolm.

Dick then asks for the megaphones (large trumpets). "Is my Mother about?" asks Kath. "Yes." says Dick through the table.
The second I put the megaphones down on the table, Dick has one up in the air above us, conducting to the background music as he normally does. Moments later the second megaphone is up with the first, both in the air dancing above us. Dick then creates a spiral of light effect as he spins them both, inter-twining them as he does so. The megaphones then part and one touches James's head whilst the other touches Mary's head (seated opposite in the circle).

As Dick takes them up into the air again, we hear kisses being blown out
of one of them - seconds later we hear kisses again. Dick then puts
one of the megaphones over Alison's hand and blows warm air down the
narrow end (we hear this clearly).
Dick then takes a megaphone over to Mary and Kath and we hear "Hello." clearly down the megaphone.
The table begins to move - Dick says "Mary's here." (Mary is Dick's wife, and Malcolm and Kath's Mother). All the time Dick was communicating through the table, the megaphone was flying above it.

The table begins to move - Dick says "Mary's here." (Mary is Dick's wife, and Malcolm and Kath's Mother). All the time Dick was communicating through the table, the megaphone was flying above it.
A few moments later one of the megaphones glides over to Malcolm, and we
hear a female voice say "Hello Malcolm." clearly down the megaphone.
It was his Mum Mary. Mary then took the megaphone over towards Kath and said "Hello Kathryn." "Hello Mum." says Kath. (This is only the second time Mary has spoke through the megaphone, but her voice was very clear (though soft).
Moments later Mary says "Mary." (Malcolm's wife seated next to Kath), then she says 'Tom', and finally she says "James' all directly through the megaphone.
Seconds later we have both megaphones floating above the circle table - it looked like they were having a sword fight in front of our eyes - Dick on one and Mary on the other. "Duelling trumpets." says Kath jokingly.
"You're not having a 'domestic' are you?" says I jokingly.

We now have the megaphones flying out of the circle, one goes to the wall behind Mary and the other to the opposite wall behind James (at least nine feet apart), they are banging on the walls and rubbing up and down on the walls. Both megaphones then come back into the circle and are placed on my lap in the darkness for me to take away.
Dick communicates through the table again - "Hoops (full sized hoola hoops)." says Dick. I put on the red light to fetch the hoops - again the table rocks wildly whilst I bring them in.
The hoops are far to big for the table so I rest them on sitters laps and turn off the light. We now watch as the hoops rise up - one is taken over to Malcolm and placed around his neck (Spirit tell us they use the hoops for healing), and the other hoop begins to spin over the table. Moments later this hoop is up and out of the circle behind Kath and Mary, spinning round on the far wall - it then goes behind James who has a bad back (James later tells us his back feels a lot better).
One hoop is still over Malcolm - the other comes back into the circle and rises up to the ceiling - Kath tells us that there is a hand moving across her face at the same time. Moments later the hoop comes down from the ceiling and it is placed over Tom and Mary.
We are allowed to put on the red light and take photos of Malcolm, Tom and Mary with the hoops around them. The table rocks again as we take the photos. As I put off the light the hoop lifts off Tom and Mary and it rests in the center of the circle - the end with luminous tab is touching Mary's hand. It then begins to spin, creating a wheel of light on Mary's wrist.
Dick then pushes the hoop over to me to take away. We ask about the hoop over Malcolm - "Take both away." says Dick through table.
Dick then says "Table, bring in." (Dick was asking us to bring in the spare table - he normally does this himself, but we assumed they were saving energy)
James is asked to bring in the spare table which is seated behind Kath - it is placed upside-down on top of the circle table (the light is put on to do this). Immediately the light is put off, the two tables are up in the air dancing above us (20lbs - 9 kilos total weight).
"Is Mum (Mary) still with you?" asks Kath. "Yes." says Dick as the tables are placed back on the floor. Both tables are now tilted over to near horizontal - we are allowed a photo without flash in red light as this happens.
The tables are put upright by Dick - Tom has his hand held and tapped
by an unseen hand as the top table moves over on to James's lap.
Seconds later we have the spare table on the floor with the circle table, legs facing down on top of it - Dick then turns them completely over so the top table is now underneath with the bottom table on top. They are then both raised up off the floor and tilted by Dick - the top table stay firm and does not slide off the bottom table.
Dick then grabs Alison's hand with his and places it on the table leg. We are allowed to take more photos with the red light. Moments later, Dick says "Bless you." through the table and then leaves us. "Bye Mum." says Kath.
The table begins to communicate - it is Pretty Lucy. We welcome Lucy; Lucy then takes the table over to Malcolm to say hello (Lucy is very fond of Malcolm). Lucy then asks for two small hoops and a small trumpet (through the table).

I put on the light to fetch the hoops and trumpet, as the light goes
off Lucy picks up both hoops and threads them on the thin end of the
trumpet. She then goes over to Alison and puts the wide end of the
trumpet over Alison's hand and lets the hoops fall off the trumpet onto
Alison's arm - she then tilts Alison's arm (still inside the trumpet)
and the hoops slide back onto the trumpet. "Rings." says Lucy through
the table.
Alison thought that Lucy was asking for her rings, but that was not the case - Lucy was saying that the two hoops were 'Two rings'. Seconds later the trumpet is up above us and flying out of the circle to the back wall - spinning round ever so fast, creating a large wheel of light next to the wall. The trumpet then comes back into the circle and after tapping various sitters hands with it, Lucy hovers it near Mary and Kath and says "Hello." clearly down the trumpet.
Lucy then takes the trumpet over to Malcolm and says "Hello Malcolm." down the trumpet. Lucy then taps Malcolm's arm with the trumpet and says "Love you." very soft, but clear down the trumpet.
The trumpet is dropped to the table by Lucy - "Keyboard." says Lucy through the table. The moment the keyboard is placed on the table by me, Lucy has it up in the air and over to Alison. Lucy plays a tune on the keyboard and rocks the table at the same time, in tune with the keyboard.
The keyboard then raises up above the table, still playing, but being spun round and round at the same time by Lucy.
The keyboard is placed back on the table by Lucy - the trumpet is picked up and starts to tap the keyboard - the table rises up with the keyboard on top, still being tapped by the trumpet - Amazing!!
Moments later the trumpet is on the table and the keyboard is up and out of the circle to the back wall - still being played by Lucy. Over to the door, playing 'Oh Suzannah' and then back into the circle to Alison where it begins to play 'Old Macdonald Had A Farm' (laughter).
"Thank you very much." says Alison (a private joke). We then hear Lucy pat James's hand, and then Alison's hand is patted - James sees a hand with the light from the luminous tab on keyboard making it visible.
"Love you." says Lucy as she leaves us. "God Bless." says sitters.
Young Luke comes to the table next and asks for 'Plastic trumpet', Drum and sticks, 'Tambourine'. "Are you starting your own band son?" asks Kath [laughter]
The table is laiden with the toys - up goes the trumpet first, we see it twirling around above us, then we hear as Luke blows through the mouth-piece. Moments later we have Luke drumming on the drum, shaking the tambourine and blowing on the trumpet whilst the table is raising up off the floor - All at the same time!!! It is incredible - this went on for two minutes.
All the toys are put back on the table by Luke - as I take them away we can hear Luke drumming on the table with his hands. Luke must have kept a drum stick because we now see it up above us conducting to the background music.
"What a wonderful performance, thank you." says circle as Luke leaves us.
William (Alison's Great Uncle in Spirit) is next to the table - William asks for the pencil and paper, but I have no A4 paper left so he settles for the black card and luminous chalk.
We sit back and watch as William draws on the card - all we see is the luminous chalk in the darkness as it strokes the card. We then hear William turn the card over and start to draw on the other side - unfortunately this smudged the previous side so we were unable to fully understand what he had written. No problem, William dictated the message through the table so we fully understood what he had conveyed.
"Bless you." says William as he leaves us.
Oh dear, we love Red Cloud to bits, but when he comes back to the table we know that we are about to close. "Good energies!" says Red Cloud through the table. We agreed whole-heartedly.
We were allowed to ask questions with the last bit of energy that was left - Mary asked a personal question which was answered, all others just thanked Red Cloud and the Spirit team for a wonderful evening.
Doris closes the circle with her usual wonderful choice of words to give thanks to Spirit.
Again we thank you Red Cloud and Spirit Team.
