Red Cloud opened the circle as usual this evening and gave this message to Richard and his Son James "I just knew you would come back to the fold." James first sat with us when he was only about fourteen years old (he is now twenty two) and his Father Richard has sat many times with the circle - Red Cloud was welcoming them back.
Seconds after his message Red Cloud had the table up above us dancing in mid-air. He then put it back on the floor and asked for the big shamanic drum and beater. Straight away the drum and beater were up in the air and out of the circle behind Kath and Richard - the drum was being beaten as it flew over their heads. The drum then came back over Richard's head and Red Cloud seated it on his head as he continued to tap it with the beater.
Almost instantly the drum is back on the table - Red Cloud drumming beautifully, first slowly and then very fast and loud. The drum is then pushed over to me (Terry) to take away from the table.
"Enjoy." says Red Cloud as he leaves the table.
Dick comes to the table and says "My Grandsons here, amazing!"
Dick then takes the table over to Tom (Great-Grandson) and then over to James (Great-Grandson) before resting it back in the centre of the circle. "Megaphones." says Dick when asked if he had anything to say. The two megaphones (large trumpets) were placed on the table. Dick immediately picked them both up and took them first to James and then to Richard, then out of the circle to the back wall. Back into the circle and over to me and Doris, then up in the air twirling round and round above us.
Moments later we hear Dick blowing kisses through them. Dick then takes one trumpet over to Malcolm (His Son) and puts his arm inside the trumpet and we hear Dick blowing warm air down the trumpet. He does this with James and Richard too. James tells us that the trumpet is up his arm to the elbow - Dick allows us to put on the red light torch and take a photo - we do the same with Richard and when the light is put on we find both their arms have been pointed to the picture of Red Cloud on the wall behind Richard.
Dick takes the trumpets off their arms and begins to conduct to the background music with them. Seconds later the trumpets are on Doris and my arms - Dick leaves them there and we hear movement behind Mary. It is Dick bringing in the spare table which he turns upside-down and places on the circle table - first he tilts them both to the horizontal without one slipping of the other, then he lifts them both together up above our heads.
Dick drops them gently to the floor and takes the top table back out of the circle, then asks for three smaller trumpets. I put the red light torch on to find the trumpets - the table rocking wildly in the centre of the circle whilst I do so. Dick puts one trumpet inside the other then the third trumpet inside the other two, all three trumpets now up in the air - Kath and Richard both say that they can see an arm in front of the glowing trumpets.
Richard begins to cough - Dick goes over to Richard and gently touches his throat with a trumpet and the coughing stops - "Thank you Granddad." says Richard. Dick continued with his display with the trumpets for a few moments more, then he gave a personal message through the table to Malcolm and Mary. Seconds later, the table is up and over to Mary - "I'm inside the table." says Mary. We are allowed to put on the red light and take a photo of Mary inside the table before Dick says "Love you all." and leaves us.
Our next visitor is little Luke who straight away asks for the skipping ropes. We watch as he unravels them in the darkness on the table - the handles glowing for all to see. Luke then takes the ropes out of the circle to the back wall and begins to spin them round and round in a circle - at one point this circle of light was from floor to ceiling spinning super-fast.
Luke then brought them back into the circle and placed one round Richard's neck - the handles were inches from Richards face as Luke spun them faster and faster without once touching him - amazing control!
Luke then lifts the circle table up onto Kath's knee and places the skipping rope inside the legs of the table - we see them dancing around like little marionettes in the darkness.
Richard, with a rope still around his neck, is pulled over the table - then Mary is pulled over the table (both by Luke) - we put on the red light and take a photo. When the light is put off we laugh as Richard and Mary tell us that they were both pulled back up by their shirts by Luke.
Next it is Tom and James who are pulled over the table by Luke - again we put on the light to take a photo, and again they tell us that they were pulled up by their shirts. Seconds later Tom has a hand running through his hair - James gets a gentle slap on his arm.
Luke now asks for the clackers (castanets) and string - he then ties all sitters (apart from Malcolm who had a poorly arm) together with the string - leaving me with one hand free for me to take a photo. The castanets are up in the air clacking wildly, then they are placed on Tom and James's arms by Luke.
Luke then asks for the two full sized kites to be brought in and placed on the table - the moment they are put down by Alison Luke has them both up and flying in and out of the circle - he then put one over Mary's head and we are allowed the red light to take a photo. [laughter] Luke then unties everyone but Richard (he had knotted the string round Richards wrist as an anchor for the rest) and then says "Bye."
As Luke leaves us 'Pretty Lucy' takes his place - Lucy goes over to Malcom with the table and says "I got Millie, but cross that someone forgot her name." [Millie is Richard's child in Spirit - this afternoon before we sat Kath asks me if I know a 'Millie' because she has the name in her head. I say I don't know - we both forgot about Richard's Millie who had visited the circle a few years ago.] Kath apologises to Millie and all is forgiven.
Lucy and Millie then give the circle a personal message - Lucy then asks for the three trumpets and the small hoops and gives us a wonderful display with them - first threading the hoops on the trumpets and then flying them up above us. Lucy then flicks the hoops off the end of the trumpets - they whizz past Doris and my heads.
Lucy then drops two trumpets, leaving just one under her control. Lucy then says (through the table) "Millie here now."
What came next was beautiful and heartwarming - Millie takes the trumpet over to her Grandma (Mary) and first we hear a kiss, then Millie says "Hello" down the trumpet. Millie then takes the trumpet over to her brother 'James' and says "Love you." "I love you too Millie." says James.
Millie then gave her Daddy (Richard) a message through the table which was fully understood by Richard. A few moments later Mary says "She's taken my glasses off my face." Richard then says "She's put them on me." We were allowed to put on the light and photograph this. Millie then says (through the table) "Daddy, you need to see what's in front of you."
Richard fully understood what Millie had said.
Millie then said (through the table) "James, be good." Seconds later the trumpet was up in the air again and we hear Millie say "Bye." through the trumpet and then we hear another kiss blown in the air.
As Millie leaves us William (in Spirit) comes forward and asks for the pencil and paper - he then writes a personal message for Alison which had meaning for Alison - we put on the red light for her to read it.
William leaves us and Red Cloud returns to the table - "The energies were amazing! - come again." says Red Cloud to our guests.
We all thank Red Cloud for another wonderful evening then Doris closes the circle with a lovely Prayer giving thanks for what we witnessed this evening.
